Hello! I’m Emma, a Sydney-based creative and art director.
I’ve spent the last couple of years drinking wine at mid-sized advertising agencies, first as a designer then an art director. Prior to that, I spent two years in a boutique design studio.

EXPERIENCE
Loud / Art Director / 2018 – 2020
For the past two years I’ve been part of the tight-knit Loud creative team, working on every creative brief to cross our desk for a range of clients including Queensland Country Bank, Zespri Kiwifruit, Ad Standards and Commonwealth Bank.
Archibald/Williams / Art Director / 2017
God knows how, but I managed to talk our ECD Matt Gilmour into letting me answer a few creative briefs, and apparently did something right. I began working on campaigns for News Corp, before moving onto a major community campaign for the NRL.
Archibald/Williams / Designer / 2015-2016
As part of the studio team at A/W I was able to work across major clients like News Corp (Metro Mastheads and The Australian) and The Royal Hospital for Women, as well as our own internal projects. Responsible for anything and everything needed I gained valuable experience in design and production of print and digital ads, a huge variety of point of sale material, EDMs, micro-sites and banner ads.
If You Build It / Designer / 2013-2015
As a designer at boutique design studio IYBI, I was involved in all major projects undertaken by the studio including branding, logo, icon and packaging design, print design and management, web design and EDM design. In my final year at IYBI I was involved in both concept and management of digital strategy campaigns for a number of clients. I was also in charge of the company blog and social media including copywriting. The diversity of this role involved juggling multiple projects on tight deadlines and liaising directly with clients.
