Plant the Seed – The Great Australian Storybook Collection

Reading is one of the great pleasures in life, and one of the best ways to give your kids a head start in their education. To give parents (and other family members) easy access to some of the most popular storybook titles in Australia, News Corp Australia introduced The Great Australian Storybook Collection. Each day for two weeks you could purchase one of Australia’s best selling children’s books for only $2.60 with your paper.

The campaign focused on the delight that comes from sharing story time with your child. They get to learn while having fun, setting them up to be lifelong readers, and you both get to enjoy a special time for just you.

The static campaign combined the book characters with a colour palette inspired by Australia’s unique environments, and was tied together with a collection of Australian flora, highlighting the author’s roots.

The Plant the Seed campaign ran nationally across tv, press, pos, digital and social media.
